The reading room adds a morning session for night workers.
A trial reading-room session will run after the night maintenance handover, with space for adults completing coursework and children awaiting school opening.
Between 18 February and 29 March 2091, the lower reading room will open at 06:30 on school days. The first tables are reserved for quiet study. A supervised children's table will remain available until the school corridor opens; parents must name the person collecting each child.
Teachers have supplied duplicate exercise sheets so that a household can share one course book without missing an assignment. Workers attending after a shift may leave their protective clothing in the outer cabinet. The room attendants will record attendance for the trial review, not for employers' timekeeping.
