Earlier stairwell entries will accompany replacement address records.
Households receiving a replacement address extract can request the older room reference held in the same civil file.
The civil desk has received enquiries from households whose inherited receipts identify a room under the separate-entry procedure introduced in 2063. Replacement extracts will now carry a cross-reference to that entry where the underlying file can be matched. The earlier document will remain available as a copy rather than being cancelled.
Applicants should bring the document they need to reconcile. A difference in floor lettering will be investigated before a clerk treats the record as a second household. The extract confirms the relationship between two addresses; it does not settle a dispute over who may occupy the room.
